35 Ocean Yacht SS 1990

Innovative 35-footer was one of Ocean’s best-selling models during her production years. This 35 footer incorporates the same rakish lines and 30-knot performance of larger Ocean convertibles in a compact package. She’s built on a modified-V hull with considerable beam forward, cored hullsides, and modest transom deadrise. The Super Sport’s interior is roomy for a 35-footer. The galley is down from the salon. The amount of teak interior joinery is a little scaled back from what it was in other Ocean yachts of her era, but the standard equipment list was impressive and included a generator, air conditioning, and central vacuum system. Outside, the cockpit is fitted with a transom door, molded-in tackle center, side lockers, and teak covering boards. The athwartships bridge ladder over the tackle locker conserves cockpit space. On the downside, the engine room is a very tight fit. The 300hp Cummins diesels cruise at 24–25 (about 30 knots top) and have about 1200hrs.
Standard single-stateroom interior with teak trim is roomy, well-appointed. Cockpit is fitted with a fishbox, transom door, tackle storage, cooler/freezer, teak covering boards. Impressive equipment list included generator, air-conditioning, and central vacuum system.
